In 1961, three clubs—the Glenora Skating and Tennis Club, the Braemar Badminton Club, and the Royal Curling Club—joined together to become the Royal Glenora Club. Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Member Services Supervisor, the Member Services Representative position will be the primary point of contact as members and guests enter the Club. The successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
 
 
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Acts as the central source of information for Members and guests regarding Club activity.

  • Assists with program registrations, cancellations, Club services and court bookings.

  • Sells and stock pro-shop items and assists Members with racquet services.

  • Assists with inter-departmental communication.

  • Ensures the integrity of the Club through security software.

  • Posts and files all charges to Member accounts.

  • Uses proper telephone etiquette and direct calls/inquiries to the appropriate departments.

  • Uses proper mail, package, and message handling procedures.

  • Handles complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within a timely manner.

  • Attends meetings, as required.

  • Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the Member Services Supervisor or Member Relations Manager.

  • Knows all safety and emergency procedures, including but not limited to accident prevention policies.

  • Other duties and responsibilities, as required.

 
Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent;

  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administration skills;

  • Proficient or familiar with computerized systems;

  • Ability and desire to thrive in a challenging, fast paced work environment;

  • Present a high degree of professional work ethic and image; 

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; and

  • Ability to be a team-player, motivated, and flexible with working hours.
